I'm looking forward to attending the retreat on Bribie Island in just over a week. I get to be there as a sounding board for the ten authors singled out by Orbit to develop their manuscripts. This should be interesting and fun.

Not much news other than Burn Bright is about to leave home and find its way in the world. BB is my teen dark fantasy that could be described as gothic Holly Black meets Stephanie Meyers (no vampires though). Wish it luck. lets hope it finds a good home.

I wish you had too. Have you considered sending your manuscript to Varuna for their man. development award? I sent Nylon Angel there and that was part of the reason the book ever got published. Varuna is wonderful.
